Social Event
The event of the year had finally arrived and we were all looking forward to Pete & Lisa's big day. Mark, Jodi, Caz, Dave, Bhav, Kev, Claire, Pikey, Stephen & Daniel all turned up to share in Pete & Lisa's Wedding experience.
A big thank you from us all for inviting us. I think it's safe to say we all had one hell of a laugh and wish you both all the happiness, love & luck for many years to come.
The weather was again sunny and the wedding went off as planned. Lisa looked lovely (Pete scrubbed up okay aswell!!) as she made a grand entrance walking down the aisle. It was all perfectly timed in tune with the string quartet playing in the background. After the ceremony the mammoth photo session took place outside. We were all a tad on the hot side especially
everyone who had the full wedding dress/suits/cravats on, you could see the heat haze coming off them.
The waiting Game
Whilst Lisa was getting ready for the 'I do', Pete was yet again having his photo taken with the best man, various guests and of course his TVR!
The Wedding
Once all the smiles were exhausted, it was time for the wedding meal which was really nice as all the XR4 Register crew on one table. Kev was up
to his usual tricks with the napkins and as Claire hides with shame we all
had a good laugh.... you cant take him anywhere!!!.
After the food had been eaten, wine had been drunk it was time for the
speeches which all went down well and were very entertaining. Many toasts
were raised and many glasses of bubbly were drunk (hic) wishing them both well.
The Evening's Entertainment
Jaffa, John, Bob, Kirsten, Al & Pablo joined the rest of the crew for the evening entertainment which was certianly one not to be missed. The DJ was really good. We had a varied play list all evening, which during the
night went a bit manic near the end. With house/rave music we were all jumping and waving then onto the hard rock tunes. Bon Jovi eat ya heart out as we had Al playing the air guitar to his hearts content.
The morning after the night before
We all survived the evening, even though we all had emptied the bar no one
had a really bad hangover, think we were all just suffering from sleep
depravation. A few of us stayed to wave the Bride & Groom off on route to
the start of their married life.
Once again 'congratulations' Mr & Mrs Doyle.
Thanks to Pikey, Bhav & Caz for photos
