The XR4Register at the RS Central Regional Day Sunday 18 April 2004
Ok what can we say about this show ? Well lets put it this way; it was
re-named 'Santa Pond' by the kids, which says it all. Rain, Wind, More Rain, Cold, errm oh yeah, did I mention the Rain ?
Once dodging the showers (ok the Rain !) there was a good range of trade
stands a few more than last year. There was also good turn-out of RS cars who braved the weather. Shame for concorse boys as we know they don't like getting their cars wet !. Unfortunately, no-one could get onto the track either as the weather didn't let up which was a real shame as it looked to being a good show.
Thanks to all who turned up on the stand despite the weather. Shame it was a short show but a show is what u make of it so we ended up spending the afternoon in the pub to drown our sorrows as DW was buying!!!. Thanks to Bhav, who decided to 'treat' us all to a spot of nosh, which dare I say must have been cheaper than what the 'food' joints at Santa Pond were charging.
All in all a good day spent in the pub!.
