The XR4Register at the RS Central Regional Day 17th April 2005

After last years wash out which was re-named Santa Pond, this years venue certainly re-deemed its name back. Blue sky with very little wind is very uncommon at Santa Pod in April so this year's event was certainly blessed with nice weather.

The rest of the crew were at another show at Stoneleigh (Click for Ultimate Ford Show Report). A few of us locals decided to attend the RS Central Show, although Pete was supposed to have his XR4i on the stand but instead he brought his TVR along for the ride.

We had Mustang, Corvette and some mad Fiat's with a V8 engine running Nitrous speeding down the strip, also a Ferrari against a Lamborghini. Not forgetting a flame thrower kit attached to a red corvette which was certainly warming!. Click here for some Corvette heat

All in all a good day out although some of us ended the day looking a tad on the pink side ay Dave!. Pete was flying solo at this show as Lisa was not able to attend, we hope your feeling better soon.
