The XR4 Register at Sporting Escorts Show, 10th July 2005

Another great day at Stanford Hall. How some of us managed to drive to Stanford Hall after being bruised, battered, totally drunk and even bush-wacked from the night before (Lisa's & Pete's Engagement party) is still a Mystery!. Many thanks to those who turned up to make this a very enjoyable day. Thanks also to Geraldine and her crew who organised another successful 'Sporting Escorts Club' National Day show.

As per last year, this year they hosted their interclub championship games & frolics. After a lot of thought, Caz & Bhav choose the Register's interclub championship team. It took a lot of persuading and Bribing (beer & BBQ) but our team was finally ready and raring to go.

Kenny was all too eager and was up for anything, although as you can see below, when the organisers brought out a pair of tights Ken and the rest of team were all bit reluctant. Strangely, Ken managed to put them on without snagging them... we thinks he has done this before!. Babs declined to comment!. Caz had to step in for the Spud & spoon race which she hadn't planned on, so much for the Committees chill out day!

Well done to all those who participated in the games. Overall we came 2nd place, so a well deserved BBQ was everyone's reward!. First place went to Sporting Escorts Team.

The Interclub Games

The Stand - After the orgaisers re-located us as our original space allocated was a tad on the small size all hands were to the deck to get the stand up & presentable for the public.
