I bought this XR4i in Sept 2005 from a 70 year old man from Dudley, who in
fairness had tried his best keep it up to scratch, but I think it has seen
better days. But it's still a nice car to drive and I'm loving the 'total
sideways' fun again !
The car was pretty much standard when I bought it apart from the lowered
springs (40 mm) and Koni shocks. The interior of the car is also as standard
with a later model dash fitted at some point. It also has cd player fitted.
Just recently I have changed the following:
Wheels from the standard 14 inch jobbies to 17 inch B.S.A Maniks with 205/40/17 tyres
Stainless Steel back box fitted.
The car also has Cosworth front grill fitted
So far the car has had no mods done to the engine, but maybe a few mod cons
to come soon. Watch this Space :-)
