The XR4Register at Fiesta In The Park & XROC National Day- Sun 16th May 2010
|
Although the XR4 Register did not have a stand at the Fiesta in the Park show due to lack of attendees, Marcus and myself were proud to show our cars off in Concourse. The weather report said it would rain in the afternoon like it usually does at this event, but it didn't and we had a fine and warm day, Hurray. We didn't get much time to look around the show as our cars were not judged till about 3.00pm. There was a good turn out the the XROC stand, and there was the usual display of Fiesta's and Focus's'. There wern't many traders there this year and I did hear that they may be looking at other locations for next year for this show.
After a whole morning of rigorous cleaning Marcus won best modified Mk1 XR4x4 which he was very pleased about (The concourse bug has well and truly bitten him) and I won best modified Mk2 XR4x4 and also came second for "Best car of the day" beaten by a mega clean Mk3 XR2i.
Next show is Classic Ford at Santa Pod on June 6th. See you there.
