Engine built by Boost performance
Girdled sump which bolts up through the sump into the main caps strengthening the bottom end allowing the engine to rev to 7500rpm. Lightened and balanced bottom end. Tuftrided 24v crank and pulley. Steel 'H' beam rods. Ceramic coated forged low compression pistons, lowering compression to 7.1. ARP stud set with custom made cylinder head strengthening bars. . Custom made headgasket with Wils rings. High volume oil pump. Gas flowed and ported big valve heads with sodium filled exhaust valves. Boost Performance high lift camshaft, Garrett GT-28 roller bearing turbos. Exhausts by Design stainless steel exhaust. Pro Alloy intercooler, radiator, and oil cooler, Electric water pump, Torque of the Devil supplied and fitted Omex ECU, Siemens Deka injectors, 24v coil pack. Uprated breather system. Adjustable boost controller. Nitrous Oxide Kit.
Engine produces: 482.1 bhp and 463 lb/ft torque without Nos and 516.9 bhp and 539lb/ft torque with Nos.
Gearbox is Reyland big tooth straight cut box with syncro with a slightly higher top gear. Clutch is a Helix twin plate with aluminium flywheel. Quick shift and full throttle gear change kits are also fitted. Front and rear diffs are Quaife ATB units.
Front brakes are Hi-spec Monster 4 pot aluminium calipers with 285mm grooved discs with EBC green stuff pads. Rears are again EBC grooved discs with green stuff pads. Braided hoses are fitted and the system is filled with silicon brake fluid.
Suspension and Steering
AVO shock absorbers with 25mm lowering springs are fitted along with poly bushes all round. Adjustable track control arms are fitted at the front. An electric power steering pump has replaced the mechanical one.
Wheels & Tyres
The wheels are off a Series 1 RS turbo and are fitted with Toyo R888 205/50 15 tyres.
