The XR4Register at the RS Central Show - Sun 20th April 2008

Well it was no surprise to wake up to a dark, misty & gloomy sky. Although I suppose we were lucky, as it did not rain during the course of the day. The track was being dried throughout the morning due to the mist. After lunch Santa Pod allowed the cars to have a stint down the track. Majority did so either sideways or were unable to get any grip or put any power down but was entertaining to watch. Our very own Mr 'BP' aka Al had a bash at the strip but even the 4 wheel drive track car was yurning for the warmth of a dry garage.

There seemed to be a reasonable amount of traders this year compared to previous years. Even with the cold & misty weather it did not dampen anyones spirits though. All in all a rather cold XR4 Register crew enjoyed the track action and the show. Caz thought the dinky donuts Dave bought at the end of the day were a welcome sight and more importantly some warmth!.
