 Welcome to the XR4Register website

The XR4 Register at TRAX 5th September 2004

It was certainly packed and plenty of cars to be seen... and that folks was just the A43 at 7.20am! Ok back to TRAX...

Well as Bhav would say 'A Bostin Show'!. We had a good turnout of cars, blistering 0-60 runs and the weather was brilliant too! All in all a cracking show. Not as many trade stands or perhaps quality of trade stands as we would have liked but at least most people managed to keep hold of their hard earnt cash!

Once again we were joined by Alex with his XR3 which sped down the 0-60 track in 9.20  secs (more info on his car as featured in this months Performance Ford mag), also joining Alex down the track was JB with a time of 8.49 secs followed by James S with a time of 7.20 secs but last and by no means least Gengis had 2 goes and even though he was suffering from a wiring fault and the fact that his fans were not cooling the car properly, we managed to be persuade him into taking his car down the strip for the third time in order to beat his 4+ secs mark by doing 0-60 in a totally unreal time of 3.98 secs! Well Done to Everyone!

Thanks also to Ralph for joining us with his very clean XR2 and also Chris Baker in his modified XR2 (more info on this as we receive it).  It was Good to see Paul Taylor and Alan again (even after our T&C antics) we did explain this wasn't a themed show and no the girls wouldn't be dressing up in uniforms either!. Glad they could make it in what ever outfit :-)

Thanks to one and all.

Caz
