The XR4Register Christmas Party Night - Holiday Inn, Sat 20th Dec 2008

Well another year has flown by and before we know it, it's Christmas time. Whilst most of us were armed with our glad rags and PDA's, others were armed with hard core drinks and nibbles for the pimp my room party! No matter which part of the country one resided in, the rabble descended on to the Holiday Inn. Nr Northampton, all eager for the XR4 Register Xmas Bash !

The usual motley crew were dolled up. Even though some people haven't had their cars out this or last season, it was good to see everyone again including a blast from the past as Richard W entered in the Christmas spirit and joined the fun!. Even Al was without his co pilot Pablo and decided to bring his girlfriend Charlotte along for the ride.

With one and all present and correct, the merry making was underway. We gathered in the bar expecting some complimentory dwinks but none appeared so off to our very own XR4 Register bar for supplies. The usual array of crackers and oversized balloons was in force as ever, and in true form, the XR4 Register were the first to set them all off and dive bombed any unfortunate unsuspecting individual. The food was plated and served but this did not stop the ballooning fun.

The grub went down all too quickly and as per usual, the 'who ate all the pies' award went to Pete D and Bhav for demolishing the desserts. Yes their eyes were too big for their bellies as they managed to sample all 3 varieties on offer and the thumbs up was deffo the Choccy Torte pudding! Burp..

With regular intervals to the 'XR4 Register bar' which were in Pete D's, Bhav's & Bob's rooms, the liquid was flowing quicker than one could take in! hic!!!! (as you wouldn't want to go to the hotel bar with their prices!! ouch)

The girls took to the floor and danced the night away to some really naff tunes and they even got 'Propositioned' by some blokes from another table, the girls were trying their hardest to dance further away from them, until that stopped working so Caz stepped in with some words of wisdom to the unwanted guests!.

The 'loosely' described 'DJ' didn't manage to get out of playing 70s tunes all evening. It was kind of strange having a DJ with his helper on stand by when he was mixing tunes from his lap top!...not too sure what his mate was there to help with bar from dancing in a wierd and kinda scarey fashion!. Even though the music wasn't up to much the girls made the best of it and after a few more dwinks they didn't care... hic!!!!

As ever the after 'Pimp My Room Party' was held in Bhav's room but it was sadly lacking the pimped up lights and glitz of previous years. This was a 'sombre' affair as the king of 'Pimps' aka Ando couldn't make it to this years Xmas Bash. A sigh of relief by some but we know Kerstin missed him so !!!!

Only the hardcore attended the 'Apres Doo', as the 'mere mortals' had to retire to their tog 10's ! Kerstin surprised us all (the dirty stop out!) lasting till 5:00am. Poor Bob retired to his room MANY hours prior ! Evidence of what the XR4 Register does to you after a night of Seasonal Jolly !
