The XR4Register at Ace Cafe Meet 12th September 2005
Ace Cafe - All Ford's Night 2nd Monday of the Month

New Event

At the XR4 Register, we like to keep our members on their toes and sometimes you dont know that there is an event till you get home from work on a monday evening and you get a txt saying ACE CAFE tonite boyz!.

To say it was a Manic Monday would be an under statement, Caz had a spur of the moment idea of visiting the Ace Cafe for the Ford night, so a few troops dropped everything and raced over to London for their 1st experience (bar from Bhav) of the evenings entertainment.

Caz & Bhav arrived in the thick of it and drove down the main strip with burnouts, smoke, rubber all around and parked up safely away from the mayhem, you couldn't miss the place as from the main road all you could see was the Ace Cafe and plumes of smoke.

Mike, Matt & Co were already enjoying the action and Alan was still flying down the M1. Alan arrived in one piece and needed a pint to calm down after his drive down, he arrived in style by giving the crowd a quick burnout whilst finding a parking space.

All in all a hectic but enjoyable evening with Alan, Bhav & Caz arriving home in the small hours of the morning!!. Lots of mad old skool motors giving the crowd some mad burnouts & smoke. Also some modern cars giving it large, although one Sierra Cossie gave it a bit too much welly!! which did spoil the evening as most cars were delivering controlled burnouts especially the old skool Escort boyz.

Bhav obviously had to give the 8 a bit of stick round a bend and Mike and the rest of the crew dissappeared into a ball of smoke behind us on our way home!. Complete with an XR4 'moving' photo shot along the motorway and Mike insisting we had to have a Sierra's by Night pic to end the evening on we all arrived back, tired but in one piece.
